Covid-19 Protocols


We completely understand that attending hydrotherapy again (or for the first time) may be quite daunting, especially as we have been closed for over a year due to Covid-19. We would like to assure you of the following to give you more confidence, and keep everyone safe.

Warwickshire Hydrotherapy adheres to Government guidelines on social distancing, hand hygiene and PPE.

We require all patients to have had at least one Covid-19 vaccine and to follow Government guidelines. A therapist will contact you prior to your appointment to go through a checklist. Please download the risk assessment and consent form. There is also a site risk assessment.

We request that all patients have a negative lateral flow test on the day of attending and notify us of this.

Every person entering the facility to wear a face mask (unless an exemption certificate is held), social distance and follow good hand hygiene.

We request that only patients to enter the facility unless needing a carer to help with personal care. Please keep all changing areas as tidy as possible and use the bins provided.

Only patients entering the pool are permitted in the poolside area at the time of their appointment. Staff will collect you from the changing area (one patient in each changing area at a time). Family members or carers will have to wait in the main reception, outside or in their vehicles and social distance. If a child is having treatment, one guardian is allowed poolside with a mask on.

All staff have been vaccinated and will be wearing masks and visor/goggles, which will be changed or cleaned between each client. Changing areas will also be disinfected between each entry.
